Meet the new owners of the Caribou Grill! The Caribou Grill originally opened in 2004 and the DeVore/Kuznia family purchased it from the previous owners in early 2015. Since then they have made several improvements including extending the bar, updating the front signage, and adding charitable gaming. Tami DeVore, originally from Northwood, ND, began cooking at a small cafe where she learned how to fry burgers and make potato dumplings in bulk. She fell in love with the business and owned her own cafe for several years, most recently the Kennedy Cafe. When the opportunity came about to purchase the Caribou Grill in Hallock she and her daughter Amber Kuznia decided to buy it. All four of her children (Amber, Kris, Brittany and Jordan) have helped and worked for her over the years. She also enjoys catering with Amber and Brittany. She is married to John DeVore who works for the CHS Canola plant. Tami's daughter Amber and husband Brett also co-own the Caribou grill. Amber graduated from Aakers business school with honors and has since worked in several food establishments and bars. She also manages the Legion in Stephen, MN. She and Brett have two children, Payton and Bradley. Tami, Amber and their entire family are committed to serving the community as well as bringing in new business from around the area, and look forward to serving you--so stop in to the Caribou today and say hello!
